It has been almost three years since the Belles set a challenge. We haven't stopped, we simply need to re-set and re-focus and find time to get ourselves back in the zone.

Alex's 1st Bike
Alex had a bike for her birthday. Most of us had this experience as children but Alex has had to wait all these years (you know what I mean!) for her first bike. Alex we are proud to be cycling alongside such a magnificent partnership.

"Congratulations to Alex on her birthday bike - love the colour. I am keeping up with Pollicott Belles bloggingbut not sure how to blog. Am pleased to hear that you are steering away from Volvo drivers in favour of communicating with sheep. Do not be too surprised at this phenomonen. Judging by my personal experience you will be amazed at how speedily you moo -ve onto chatting with cows. Beware; when deep in the countryside cows will spot your yellow jackets moving along on wheels and confuse you with their farmers on quad bikes. Whole herds may coming pounding across meadows to reach the gate before you pass by. I tell you this as it can be quite unnerving and you may like to be prepared.
And there was me thinking the only thing I had to worry about was staying on the bike! Now I need to learn sheep and cow lingo while several hundred pounds of excited bovine charges towards me looking for a decent meal out of a quad bike trailer. Hopefully Vickys fuschia pink jodhpurs will be enough to put them off of my turquoise bike! Hi Olwen - hope all is well and thanks for your thoughts. Love Alex xxx
